![]() Mickey and Ian are moving into their own apartment in the west side, and I think it's good for them. But I didn't like the covid aspect, it seemed unnecessary and strange. Overall, Ian and Mickey, Carl, Kev and V, and Frank had the best endings.įrank, I actually like Franks ending to a degree, while it was sad to see such a charismatic character deteriorate, it was good from a story perspective as in the end his poor behavior finally came back to him, and rather than a traditional illness, it added a softness to Frank in his final days, and him sort of choosing death because of his disease was better than being taken. BTW this is a long post, read if you want Ultimately it was decent, and here's why. I can't really decide if it's a good ending or not. Overall I feel pretty neutral about the finale, it wasn't great, but it wasnt bad either. photoshopped images, "Debbie is such a bitch, they should kill her off" posts)Ġ6x01 - I Only Miss Her When I'm BreathingĠ6x12 - Familia Supra Gallegorious Omnia!Ġ7x07 - You'll Never Ever Get A Chicken in Your Whole Entire LifeĠ7x08 - You Sold Me the Laundromat, Remember?Ĩx05 - The (Mis)education of Liam Fergus Beircheart Gallagherĩx08 - The Apple Doesn't Fall Far from the Alibiĩx12 - You'll Know the Bottom When You Hit Itġ0x01 - We Few, We Lucky Few, We Band of Gallaghersġ0x02 - Sleep Well My Prince For Tomorrow You Shall Be Kingġ0x04 - A Little Gallagher Goes a Long Way No download/stream/torrent links of any kind ) and avoid putting any spoilers in the title itself Use the spoiler tag for every post discussing episodes (i.e. don't discuss season 6 in a thread about season 5 without the spoiler tag) Use the spoiler tag when discussing what would be considered spoilers in the thread (i.e. Great to see they are making a second series in the US and in fact given they have plenty of material to use, since we are up to Series 8 here in the UK, I hope it has the same longevity. For discussion on Showtime's best show, Shameless!īe civil (no harassing each other because you don't agree) We are only up to episode 7 of the US series here in the UK and its top of my weekly viewing. I agree that William H Macy's Frank is more likable since he isn't always drunk and Joan Cusack is perfect as Sheila (I found the UK Sheila quite annoying). I love Emmy Rossum and her portrayal of Fiona is astounding. It really is extremely well written with great pace and some superb performances. Many people will have been turned off this by the trailer and thought it's not for them which is a shame. Real, rounded, believable characters and so many of them too. ![]() It has cleverly achieved what the UK version has in taking a subject and a group of characters that most people should loathe and turned them into a lovable group, all beautifully portrayed. ![]() Come episode two I was hooked and to honest much prefer this version. However there was a lot packed into that episode and the script was pretty good. I have to admit that throughout the first episode I was constantly thinking 'oh she's not as good as so and so' or 'I much prefer David to William'. To take a loved UK program and set it in the US has a history of failures but I liked the look of the trailer and gave it a go. I therefore approached this with apprehension. I've followed the original version in the UK since it started and it's still going strong (to correct an earlier reviewer it wasn't aired on the BBC, it's a Channel Four series).
